Fukushima

Fukushima Prefecture is divided into three regions, Aizu, Nakadori, and Hamadori, by the Abukuma Highlands and the Ou Mountains. Aizu is a breadbasket region with heavy snowfall in winter and high temperatures in summer, and is popular for outdoor activities such as Urabandai and Inawashiro Lake.Nakadori has many representative cities such as Fukushima, Koriyama, and Shirakawa, and is the main artery of the prefecture with the Tohoku Shinkansen and Tohoku Expressway running through it.Hamadori is characterized by a mild climate on the Pacific Ocean side.
