Fresh cheese cake that conveys the richness of Minami-aso
Japanese notation "バナナていすと"
Banana Teito” is made by Tsuriganeya Honpo, a long-established confectionery shop established in 1900 in Naniwa-ku, Osaka City.
The shop’s signature product is “Tsurigane-manju” but the “Banana Taste” is made of sponge cake manju dough and filled with banana bean paste.
Two to three bite-sized square manju.
The banana bean paste, carefully made with Hokkaido beans, is smooth to the touch and has a gentle banana flavor with a hint of aroma.
As I thought when I ate “Tsurikane-manju” and “Hitokuchi Castella“, I feel that this sponge cake dough made by Tsurikane-ya Honpo goes well with anything. This sponge cake dough has a well-balanced, simple sweetness.
