Matsunoha
Japanese notation "万都の葉"
I bought an ”assemble monaka”「Matsunoha」 from the famous Japanese sweets shop “Kozuki” in Kyoto.
The packaging of the skin of the monaka and the filling of the bean paste are wrapped together and wrapped in a paper wrapper.
They are individually packaged like this, and will now be assembled into monaka.
Two pieces of plate-shaped monaka skin shaped like a trapezoidal plate.
The red bean paste is a pouch of kneaded and hardened tsubu-an. It looks delicious and I would eat it as it is.
Monaka skin with a little bit of red bean paste on top,,
Put another piece on top and it’s done.
The skin of the monaka is crispy and delicious. As one would expect from a long-established shop, the high quality Ogura-an (red bean paste) and Dainagon-odamame (azuki beans) are amazing. Making your own monaka is easy and fun.
