Chocolate coated sable used in raisinwiches

“Kamakura Choco Biscuit” made by Kamakura Ogawaken, is a biscuit coated with chocolate.  Ogawaken originated in Ochanomizu and also has stores in Daikanyama and Shinbashi in Tokyo.  They are famous for their raisinwiches. Kamakura Ogawaken become a goodwill partner of the original Ogawaken and there are about six stores around Kanagawa Prefecture today, and the raisinwich is still a popular item.

One of their popular products is the “Kamakura Biscuit,” and this is a chocolate-coated version of the series.

The butter sablé used in the Raisinwich is coated with chocolate and topped with cacao nibs,  whose beans are dried, roasted and crushed into small pieces.

Crunchy sablet is coated with a luxurious chocolate that spreads the aroma of cocoa.

There are two types, milk chocolate and sweet chocolate, and both have an authentic and mature chocolate flavor.   These chocolate cookies are made with the finest ingredients from Kamakura Ogawaken.
