Sapporo Agricultural College Hokkaido Milk Cookies, produced by Kinotoya, locates in Shiroishi Ward Sapporo, have been sold more than 300 million pieces since the launch in 2005, and are now a major confectionary sold at all souvenir stores in Hokkaido.
Sapporo Agricultural College was an educational institution established in Sapporo in the early Meiji era (1868-1912) and was the predecessor of today’s Hokkaido University. It is famous for the first vice principal, Dr. Clark.
The cookie has a simple appearance, and the aroma of butter wafts through the air while open the package.
It has a hollowy texture and can be broken easily in half. It gives the impression of being one of the softer cookies.
