Chichibu City's image character, Potekuma-kun's tummy texture?

Chichibu-an Tamakiya in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, makes “Potekuma-kun no Onaka,” a custard bun.  An image character of the city, “Potekuma-kun” is printed on the pacage.  The confectionary name means the character’s tummy.

Potekuma-kun supposes to be a bear fairy, and he has a title as a Manager, responsible for Publicity in Chichibu City.  He may look cute, but he is the head of the department.

Potekuma-kun’s tummy may be just like this texture. It is moist and glossy while being soft and boucy at the same time.

Cutard cream is fully filled in the bun.

The custard-flavored manju skin filled with custard cream is a favorite of all children. The cute package makes it an ideal souvenir for children.
