They are one of CHAYA group, which is a representative of very long-established “Hikage Chaya”. They boast over 300 years history there and are well known for their authentic western-style confectionery.
This is a traditional financier made by “LA MARÉE DE CHAYA”. Such financier is kinda unswayed western confectionery and high quality can be expected because of long-established confectioner.
The first impression is how neat and beautiful the form is. The four corners of the bar are crisply baked, and the browned color is perfect.
It gives rich flavor of butter, crispy outside and fluffy inside.
It is no doubt to say it is the perfect financier how it should be and it raises potential of regular baked pasgtry more than we expect.
