Apple Sablé
Japanese notation "林檎さぶれ"
The “Apple Sablé” is a luxurious apple jam and caramel sandwich. When I think of sable, I imagine something like a “Hato-Sablet” but this pastry is quite different. It is like a cookie sandwich with jam.
Incidentally, the “Sablé” pastry originated in France, where it is characterized by its greater use of butter and other ingredients compared to cookies and cookies. The ratio of butter to flour is close to 1:1, and the dough with a strong butter flavor is often called “sablé”.
Indeed, it is sandwiched with a dough that looks like it is made with a lot of butter.
When split in half, there is an apple-scented caramel-like texture sandwiched inside. It contains nuts and appears to be a mixture of apple jam and caramel.
Well, it is delicious. Apples are a material that stands out even when arranged in this way. It tasted like a luxurious French pastry that makes the most of apples.
