Shiro-Goma-Daiko
Japanese notation "白胡麻太鼓"
I bought a “Shiro-Goma-Daiko” from the confectionery brand “Anata ga tadokosa” developed by Iwata Corporation in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture.
Approximately 3,000 sesame seeds are used in each sheet, which is a great amount. Sesame seeds have anti-aging effects, promote the breakdown of fat, and are rich in vitamin E, which helps to remove cholesterol from the blood.
The crackers are made of “100% sesame” and have nuts mixed in, but the impact of the hardened sesame seeds is amazing.
Sesame and nuts are hardened into a cracker shape with syrup. Almonds and soybeans seem to be used for the nuts.
It was not as hard as I had expected and seemed easy to eat. It has the simplicity of just hardened sesame and nuts, but more than that, it is overwhelmed by the amount of white sesame.
One bite of the rice cracker is filled with a savory and sweet flavor. The flavor of the ingredients as they are is luxurious, and the rice cracker is healthy and tasty.
