Obse milk baked doughnut

オブセ牛乳焼きドーナツ

Rich yet simple sweetness kneaded only with milk, without water

Obuse Milk, produced in Obuse Town, located in the northeast of Nagano Prefecture, has been enjoyed by the local people since 1950. Its symbol is a cute child sitting on a crescent moon.

“Obuse Milk Baked Doughnuts” are made without a drop of water, using only Obuse milk to knead the dough. The dough has a texture similar to that of scones, which are often eaten in England.

When the package is opened, a soft sweet smell wafts through the air. The contents are 158 grams, but there does not seem to be much water in the bag, so each bag is quite bulky.

The size of each doughnut is 5~6 cm in diameter and 1.5 cm thick ring-shaped, and is compact enough to be eaten in 2~3 bites. As mentioned above, there are many doughnuts in one bag, so the size and volume are perfect for sharing among family members and friends.

It is delicious with a rich milk flavor and a simple sweetness. The doughnut is hard, but when you try it, it loosens in your mouth and has a more moist texture than expected.
