This snack bar is from Ibaraki Prefecture, the home of natto (fermented soybeans). As shown in the package photo, it is a unique snack that is a combination of natto rice and mentaiko at the same time!
It depicts a Mito Komon-sama-like character. The thumbs-up by Kimon-sama was a bit of a funny pressure point.
Upon opening the package, you will find a tubular stick snack familiar to everyone in Japan.
It is sprinkled with dried green onions. It seems to thoroughly pursue the taste of natto.
