Tsuki-ni-Ukarete

Sweet custard bun with the presence of the Kincho raccoon dog on the package.

The “Tsuki-ni-Ukarete” made by Halleruya, who is famous for producing the famous Tokushima confection “Kincho Manju” is a so-called “Custard sweet bun”. The name of confection means being delighted to the moon.

A cute illustration of raccoon dogs dancing to the moon is printed on the package. This raccoon dog motif is their iconic symbol that is also applied on their Kincho manju.

In appearance, it resembles Hagi no Tsuki. However, it is not very good to say Hagi no Tsuki as if it represented the standard for custard buns. Perhaps it is because many of us are familiar with it from the past, but when we see the custard-colored sponge dough, we can’t help but think of Hagi no Tsuki.

Looking at the cross section, there are two layers of custard cream and milk cream, giving the contents an originality.

The fluffy dough is filled with a rich, sweet custard cream, making it a satisfying sweet bun for its size.
