Torayaki Sōkan
The package features a bold color scheme, but the dorayaki itself is an elegant sweet flavor.
Muraoka Sohonpo, renowned for producing the famous Saga confection “Ogi Yokan” produces “Torayaki Sokan,” Dorayaki, a bean-jam pancake featuring an eye-catching tiger-patterned crust.

The striking contrast of yellow and pink on the package is also memorable. The confection name “Sōkan” comes from honoring Lee Jong-hwan, a naturalized Korean who is the deity enshrined at the Tangjin Shrine in Karamon-chō, Saga City.

A stunning tiger-print over the crust with a fluffy texture filling of air.

Filling a vivid pink colored white bean paste insdie, which paired with a tiger pattern and makes it quite a flashy design.

Despite its appearance, it is finished with an elegant sweetness. The sponge cake-like texture of the dorayaki skin goes perfectly with the light sweetness of the pink white bean paste. It truly makes us feel like the Muraoka Sohonpo’s professional work, renowned for their Ogi Yokan.
