Caramel Chocolat Sandwich
Biscuit sandwiches made by a caramel specialty store in Yokohama
Japanese notation "横浜馬車道ミルフイユ"
We had the “Yokohama Bashamichi Mille-feuille” from “Gâteaux de Voyage” in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
The packaging depicts a cross section of Mille-feuille in layers.
Layers of handmade pie and chocolate cream are layered on top of each other.
A cross section of chocolate melts between layers of pie crust. As soon as you try it, the crispy texture is amazing. You can feel the layers of pie crust more than it looks, and you can see the attention to detail in the dough.
The rich, deep chocolate cream melted softly and was so delicious that it became one with the dough when eaten.
