Amand Queen
Japanese notation "アマンドクイーン"
The “Amand-Queen” is a cute mini-bouchée made by Tairiku, a creative western confectionery in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture. It has been a popular product since the establishment of Tairiku, and has been sold for more than 50 years since 1947.
As you can see in the photo, it is a round, fluffy, modern, cute confectionary about 5 cm in diameter, so I thought it was a recently released confectionary, but I was surprised to learn that it has a history of over 50 years.
When cut in half, the original cream is sandwiched tightly between the two halves. The texture of the cream is firmer and more solid than expected, while the outer bouquet is very soft.
The cream inside seems to be an original cream made from fresh butter and cheese, and when combined with the bouquet dough, the mellow flavor is superb. It is no wonder this has become a long-seller.
