Confectionery Marron
Japanese notation "銘菓 マロン"
Kimuraya was founded in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture in 1887 as a successor to Tokyo Ginza Kimuraya, famous for its “Sake-kasu Anpan”. The company also manufactures a considerable lineup of confectionery products.
The package is cute with a retro design, “Confectionery Marron” a very simple name.
It seems to be a very authentic pie. As one would expect from a store that has its origins in a bakery, this pie crust, in any case, has a great, carefully handmade and crispy texture.
The pie crust is crispy and really light, so you will eat it in no time. It is filled with large chestnuts and has a well-balanced taste with the sponge cake. This pastry has a nostalgic atmosphere, gentle sweetness, and the deliciousness of the pie crust at the same time.
