Maru-Bōro
A classic of Nanban confectionery that bears witness to history.
Japanese notation "栗万"
“Kuri-man” is a manju made with Japanese chestnuts produced in Kumamoto Prefecture by “Chidori Manju Sohonpo” in Fukuoka Prefecture. I personally like the red bean paste of this chestnut bun quite a lot.
It looks a little flat and standard manju.
The flavor of chestnuts spreads abundantly, but at the same time, somehow, it is like a rich chocolate flavor.
There is no chocolate in the ingredients, which may seem strange, but the creamy chestnut red bean paste was a delicious manju.
