Anmaru no Sato Ichigo-maru

Mini sized Tsukisamu anpan and strawberry bean paste filled.

“Anmaru no Sato Ichigo-maru” made by Honma Corporation locates in Hokkaido,  is like a bread type of confectionary.  The confectioner is famous for “Tsukisamu Anpan”  which is called “soul food” locally.  The dough is quite similar to Tsukisamu Anpan and is filled with strawberry red bean paste.

The packaging is catchy with cute illustrations and this was created having input of JAL staff who work at New Chitose Airport.

The size is a little smaller than Tsukisamu anpan, but the dough texture is just like Tsukisamu anpan.

Strawberry red bean paste is made from white bean paste and strawberry paste. The texture is soft and fluffy, and the fruity strawberry aroma spreads out.

In addition to the Anmaru no Sato Ichigo Maru, there are more lineups such as Anmaru (butter bean bun) and Tokibimimaru (corn bean bun). It is like a mini version of Tsukisamu Anpan with various flavors.
