Japanese notation "千姫すいーと りんご"
Iseya Honten locates in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, is a long-established confectionery shop with a very long history, founded between 1688 and 1704, around the Genroku era. The “Senhime Suito Ringo” I bought this time is an apple-flavored milk sweet bun.
The “Sen Hime”, meaning Pricess Sen is the name of wife of Hideyori Toyotomi and Tadatoki Honda. Her mother was Oe, the third daughter of Nagamasa Asai, who is also well known in the historical drama. Princess Sen lived in Himeji for about 10 years before returning to Edo Castle after Honda Tadatoki passed away.

When it cut, the aroma of apples wafts through the air.
It is more like sweet bun of apple and pasted bean jam rather than milk sweet bun. It tastes refreshingly fruity
