Green Fuji drawn on Japanese paper. What a beautiful package!
The eye-popping bright green color of the steamed dorayaki is baked in such a way that when folded in half, it forms just the shape of a mountain, which is clearly inspired by Mt Fuji.
The dough is richly kneaded with the highest quality matcha green tea, carefully ground on a millstone, and the deep matcha color contrasts beautifully with the azuki red bean paste.
The best quality azuki beans, “Erimoshōzu”, are used to make this very tasty sweet. It has a fresh texture that goes well with the steamed dough. The beautiful package is impressive, so it would be a nice souvenir to give as a gift.
