Tsuki-sarasa

Japanese notation "月さらさ"
“Tsuki-sarasa” made by “Zabiberu Honpo” in Oita City, Oita Prefecture, is a Western-style ” Gaufrette” with the atmosphere of a rice cracker. It was once awarded the “Honorary President’s Prize” at the National Confectionary Exposition.
There are two flavors of cream, cheese and brown sugar.
A round-shaped Gaufrette. It is said to be inspired by the image of the moon.
It is 10 cm in diameter and about 7 mm thick. The texture is crispy and firm and hard. Rice flour seems to be used as the material for the rice cracker.
The cheese flavor had a refreshing cream and a mildly sweet taste, while the brown sugar flavor was a delicious brown sugar sweetness.
It is like a rice cracker with elements of Western-style confectionery. The taste of the rustic rice cracker and the unique cream flavor is delicious.
