Hakka-Monogatari
Japanese notation "ハッカ物語"
“Hakka-Monogatari” made by “Yama Jugyo Co., Ltd.” in Kitami City, Hokkaido, is a unique sweet made from large white beans covered with a sugar coating of Hakka (Japanese peppermint). It has a long history and has been a long-selling product since 1950.
Large white beans are used in Hakka Monogatari.
Large white flower beans are covered with a sugar coating of Hakka. Kitami is located in the eastern part of Hokkaido, but is surrounded by magnificent nature.
The white flower bean sweet bean paste is fine and delicious. It was unexpected that the flavor and the sugar coating of the Hakka would blend so naturally with each other.
My initial expectation was that the taste would be quite unique, but surprisingly it is very harmonious and natural. It is a delicious taste that shows why it has been popular for a long time. You will be surprised to know that Hakka and amanatto go so well together. Please give it a try.
