Tamago Cookie
Japanese notation "たまごクッキー"
The “Tamago Cookie” made by the egg specialty store “Mori no Meibuki Tamagosha” in Zao Town, Miyagi Prefecture, are egg-rich cookies made with brand eggs “Zao no Meibuki Eggs”.
Cookies with a swirl pattern, seem to be made from a combination of two different materials. The lighter colored material has the feel of pie dough, while the darker colored part seems to be cookie dough. The cookie seems to be made with a lot of eggs and butter and has a darker color.
Both are baked to a golden brown and have a buttery aroma. The cookie dough is made by taking only the yolk of the egg and kneading it into the cookie dough while backing it. It is an amazingly meticulous process.
The two different textures of the cookie dough alternate to create a crispy texture. And the egg flavor is still rich and very luxurious and delicious.
