This is a matcha version of Rokkatei White Chocolate. It is not simply a product with matcha mixed in, but a matcha chocolate that boasts an incredible degree of perfection, and is definitely a standard and very popular product.
Perhaps it is because there is a lot of matcha powder mixed in, but I think it accentuates the slightly “crunchy” texture that is characteristic of Rokkatei’s chocolates. This texture and feel on the tongue is unique to Rokkatei.
The matcha is really aromatic. The bitterness of the matcha is overlapped by the sweetness of the white chocolate that envelops it, creating an outstanding harmony, and this perfection is astonishing.
