“Mase” in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is a very long-established confectionery shop founded in 1872. It is a well-known store that continues to produce traditional Japanese sweets and seasonal confections.
”Izu Mikan” has a beautifully designed package with a translucent Japanese paper-like texture.
The mandarin orange fruit is contained in this way, and the mandarin orange jelly that surrounds it is very soft and delicately textured.
The jelly is so soft that it seems to fall apart, and has just the right balance of sweet and sour. When you eat it with mandarin oranges, you will feel like you are in the “summer mood” with just one bite.
