Nanbu-Bijin sakekouji financie
Japanese notation "南部美人 酒粕フィナンシェ"
”Nanbu-Bijin” is a standard sake that has long been popular in Iwate Prefecture. I bought a financier made with sake lees from this sake. It is interesting to see what kind of taste a pastry made with sake would have.
The logo of “Nanbu-Bijin,” a Japanese sake, is on the package of the financier.
It looks like a typical financier shape.
When I split it in half, I felt that it was very moist, and at the same time, the aroma of sake was wafting through the air.
Taking a bite, the aroma of sake is stronger than expected. It seems to really contain a lot of sakekasu, and tastes more like sake than expected. Although it is said to contain no alcohol component, it had a more robust sake flavor than I expected.
