Daisen Blueberry Cake
Fruity taste that you can't imagine from the pitch-black appearance.
Japanese notation "金平饅頭"
Miyake Seika, founded in 1902 in Okayama Prefecture, has a long history. The manju (bun) introduced here, Kinpei Manju, is named after the founder, the first generation of the company, Mr. Fintaro Miyake.
It looks like a small Imagawa-yaki, but its diameter is about 5 cm.
Inside is a beautiful white bean paste. It is rare to find such a transparent white bean paste. Miyake Seika seems to put a lot of effort into their white bean paste, which is rich in flavor and has an elegant sweetness that stands out.
Anyway, the sponge cake dough is unquestionably delicious!
