”Gouter de Roi SOLEI”” made by Gateaufesta Harada, who originated in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, is a gateau rusk coated with couverture chocolate. The confectionary name “Roi Soleil” means “Sun King” and is said to honor Louis XIV of France, sounding very luxurious confectionary.
The package color is very bright and eye-popping blue. A sun symol mark is printed on the package.
The included backing paper is like a card.
It is even decorated with a gold leaf and a chocolate plate with the sun symbol. It is just gorgeous.
The overall rusk is skin tone but similar to white chocolate.
The rusk is coated with thick couverture chocolate and has a delicious crunchy texture. It is available only from November to late April. It would be a perfect gift as a luxurious confectionary.
