Maizuru

The fluffy texture of the dorayaki crust is amazingly thick.

Tsuruya Hachiman, located in Chuo-ku, Osaka City, is a very long-established Japanese confectionery established in 1863. Tsuruya Hachiman’s popular dorayaki, bean-jam pancake, is “Maizuru”. The thick crust is distinctive.

We can recognize how big it is through the package.

A crane sumbol is branded in the center of the crust and it outstands its thickness and height.

The crust seems to be about 1 cm thick, fluffy and firm elasticity.

Since the crust has a quite volume, the filled red bean paste seems modest, but it tastes rich and both well balanced.
