“Yaotsu senbei, a rice cracker is a famous traditional confectionery made by Hinomaru seika who locates in Yaotsu town in the south-central part of Gifu prefecture, 80% of the area is mountain forests.

It is made from simple ingredients such as flour, eggs, and sugar. The rice cracker is quite simple flavor.

Peanuts are kneaded.

Large peanuts are kneaded into the rice crackers and it is baked to a golden brown.

It has a light texture in mouths, and is delicious with simple sweetness and peanut flavor. The wheat and egg flavors are also present, and a simple taste would go well with either tea or coffee.
