”Kitakaro” which has its head office in Sunagawa City, Hokkaido, makes “Kita-no-Tenshi-tachi (Northern Angels)” that are not shaped like shells, but are simple baked sweets similar to madeleines. Sunagawa City has a street called “Sweets Road” and is known as a town of sweets.

The package with flying angels, very fairy-tale atmosphere.

Upon opening the package, a rather tall baked pastry appeared, about 6 cm in diameter and 3 cm high.

The outside is baked to a golden brown, with a beautiful sponge cross-section that feels evenly heated through to the inside.

Perhaps due to the large amount of butter used, they are very moist, luxurious, and even firm. Although small in size, the madeleines were very satisfying.
