Buttered-Dora

Dorayaki filled with the originality of rich bean paste and butter

“Buttered-Dora” are made by “Choeido” which is famous for making traditional sweets made from green peas called “Fūki-mame. Choeido is a Japanese sweets shop in Yamagata Prefecture with a long history of more than 130 years since its establishment.

As the package says, it is a dorayaki with originality using “Fūki-mame-An” made from Fūki Beans and butter.

Looking at the cross section, you can see the beautiful color of the two layers of rich bean paste and butter. The dorayaki skin is very moist and soft sponge dough.

The gentle sweetness of the Fūki-mame beans and the fluffy texture of the beans mixed with butter make for a very smooth texture. The simple sweetness of this dorayaki is delicious.
