Chibi-maru Mamegorō
Japanese notation "ちび丸まめごろう"
“Chibi-maru Mamegorō” is a mini-sized version of “Mamesenbei-no-Mamegorō” made by “Nanbu-Senbei no Iwateya” which is overwhelmingly famous for its Nanbu-Senbei. I sometimes have a craving for this slightly cookie-like Nanbu senbei.
The package depicts the image character “Chibi-maru”. He is supposed to be Mamegoro’s child.
Each bag comes in a package of 5 pieces.
The size of one piece is like this when compared to a 500 yen coin. It is exactly the size of a cookie.
It is a luxurious cracker with a crispy biscuit-like texture, a really slightly sweet cracker, and lots of peanuts.
There is no sense that the small size makes it thin.
It has a delicious rustic sweetness while the deliciousness of wheat, the savory taste of peanuts, and the buttery flavor are well blended. The easy-to-eat size is also a delight.
