Big-sized deep-fried rice crackers with the flavor of scallops

A rice cracker “Hotate (Scallop)” from Sanshū Seika, which mainly produces and sells rice crackers in Kasukabe City, Saitama Prefecture.

Scallop-flavored rice crackers are a bit unusual. The package is light blue in color, giving it a “seafood” feel.

The rice cracker is fried crispy with a very light texture for its size.

The thickness of the scallop can be clearly seen in the cross section, which is probably more than 1 cm. Despite being so thick, the scallop is crispy and very light in texture, and the scallop is well seasoned, with a truly concentrated flavor.
