Tirol-Choco×Tirolian
Japanese notation "チロルチョコ×チロリアン"
“Tirolian” made by Chidoriya in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and “Tirol Chocolate” have collaborated to produce a product called “Tirolchoco×Tirolian” available only in Kyushu. Both Tirolian and Tirol Chocolate are collaborating to commemorate each other’s 60th anniversary.
The packaging features a cute character dressed in a traditional costume, which is instantly recognizable to those who know “Tirolian”.
Japanese people are familiar with Tyrol Chocolates, the classic candy that kids can buy with their allowance.
The chocolate is pure white and looks like white chocolate. The cookie-like bottom part seems to be made of Tirolian biscuit dough.
The cookie portion was crispy and the white chocolate was not too sweet, but had a gentle flavor that let the cookie’s presence shine through. Hazelnuts were included and the texture of nuts and cookie crunch was also good.
