”Obuse Milk” located in Obuse-machi, Kamitakai-gun, Nagano Prefecture, is a dairy manufacturer that has been making milk that has been enjoyed by the local people since 1950. The milk is made with 100% raw milk and unadjusted ingredients, and is carefully produced over a long period of time. The symbol of the company is a cute child sitting on a crescent moon.

They manufacture various lineups of yogurt and sweets using milk. This time, I bought “Obuse Milk Kanten” which is milk hardened into bite-size pieces with agar.

The individually wrapped bite-sized milk agar looks like a sugar cube.

When you think of agar, you imagine a transparent feeling, but when you break it open and look inside, it has a marshmallow-like texture.

This agar jelly has a strong taste of milk. The texture is also a little fluffy and unique. With its simple and delicious taste, it is a recommended snack for all ages, from small children to the elderly.
