Senbei with a perfect harmony of handmade miso and caramel.

“Caramel Sembei Matsuho” made by Tanakaya Senbei Sohonke in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, is a unique product made by applying caramel paste to “Ogaki Miso Senbei”, the store’s signature product with over 150 years of tradition.

Part of the box is cut out in the shape of a pine tree, creating a modern design.

The individual packages are also elegantly decorated with illustrations of pine trees.

The top surface of the fairly large rice cracker is coated with caramel paste.

The miso flavor of the Ogaki rice cracker goes surprisingly well with the sweet, bittersweet flavor of the caramelized caramel.

It also has a characteristic crispy texture. The caramel flavor and the traditional miso cracker flavor seem to create a deep taste.
