Shina-no-ji
Japanese notation "志なの路"
”Ryoguchiya Korekiyo” is a long-established Japanese confectionery in Nagoya City, founded in 1634 and given its signboard by Mitsutomo Tokugawa in 1686.
”Ryoguchiya Korekiyo” has many representative confections, and I bought one of them “Shina-no-ji”.
It is a long, thin, small candy wrapped in twisted wrapping paper like candy. This size is good.
When I split it in half, it is a solid manju. I was impressed by the elaborate workmanship of the manju despite its small size. It is indeed a traditional craftsmanship.
Delicious. I find the red bean paste to be a little distinctive, a little reddish, fine-grained, and has a strong sweetness and aroma. Overall, the taste is simple, but it’s a delicious taste that explains why it has been a long-time staple.
