Takarazuka Hard Doughnut

This is the “Takarazuka Hard Donut” made by Montoir Co. These days, these doughnuts are sometimes seen in supermarkets.
”Takarazuka Hard Doughnuts” itself was originally made at the Takarazuka Hotel, which opened in 1926.
In 2014, Montoir transferred the entire factory to Montoir, and the doughnuts became what they are sold as today. The name “Takarazuka Hard Doughnut” was originally made at the Takarazuka Hotel, which opened in the Taisho era (1912-1926).
The doughnut is like an old fashioned, but less oily and can be eaten like a light sponge cake.
The surface is crispy and the inside is moist, fluffy, and gently sweet. Although it is called a “Takarazuka hard doughnut,” it does not feel as hard as it should, but rather crispy on the outside.
Very easy to eat and I like the taste. I would recommend these donuts for breakfast.
もう70歳になろうかという老人ですが、子どもの頃は、ドーナツとアップルパイは宝塚ホテルのものと決まってました。もちろん、アップルパイはロイヤルホテルでも焼きたてを食べることができました。なぜか食べ物は昔の方が豊かだったように思いますね。
