“Marusei Butter Sandwich” is now so famous that I don’t know how to introduce it.

I myself have known about this butter sand since I was a child, but I used to avoid it because I was not fond of raisins, but as I grew up, people around me told me that “Marusei butter sandwiches are delicious”  and, when I buy them as souvenirs in Hokkaido, they are bizarrely appreciated.

As I became an adult, I noticed that people around me were unusually pleased when I bought it as a souvenir from Hokkaido, and when I tried it again as an adult, I realized that, yes, it is delicious.

I feel that this has become an iconic souvenir of Hokkaido. Along with Ishiya’s “Shiroi Koibito” it has become a representative of Hokkaido.

Fresh butter cream and raisins sandwiched in a cookie, the taste of the cookie becomes one in the mouth.

This butter sandwich, which demonstrates the full potential of ingredients from Hokkaido, is loved by many Japanese people.

It is very delicate and feels like a complete harmony. This is a classic Hokkaido souvenir that many people enjoy. I am convinced that it is the “King of Hokkaido souvenirs” in both name and reality. Ah, it’s delicious.
