Japanese notation "白い恋人"
No need for further explanation when it comes to the white chocolate-covered langue de chat made by Ishiya Confectionery in Sapporo, Hokkaido. “Shiroi-Koibito” has become synonymous with Hokkaido souvenirs. “Shiroi-Koibito” means “White Lover”
Thinly baked langdosha, with lots of butter, so there’s a little “sizzle” when you eat it.
The white chocolate inside is huge! I was impressed again to see how big it was.
There are many confections with a similar concept throughout Japan, but I feel that the reason why Shiroi-Koibito has remained steadfast among them is because the quality of this white chocolate is outstanding.
Many people are a little happy just to see this dark blue wrapping paper. It is a classic and undoubtedly delicious souvenir that everyone will enjoy.
