Mochiri Goma-Shoyu「Ku」
Japanese notation "もっちりごま醤油「く」"
”Ku” is made by Akita Kawaguchiya. ”Ku” is a dialect word meaning “to eat” in the Akita dialect.
It is not a word that is always used, but it is often used in family or close relationships to express the meaning of “eat this if you like” or “thank you for the food”.
「Ke」 (Go ahead and eat)
「Ku」(Thanks, I eat. )
It is very efficient, isn’t it?
I grew up in the Tohoku region, so I have seen this kind of exchange from time to time. Some people may have the impression that it is crude because the words are short, but it is a dialect with a very warm “sound” and a good nuance.
Aside from that, “sesame buns” are made with an abundance of sesame.
The manju is topped with black sesame seeds, and the bean paste inside is also black sesame bean paste.
The simple and rustic taste of the manju skin is flavored with sesame. The sesame bean paste is not too sweet, and the black sesame flavor is savory and delicious. It is an interesting series with a single hiragana character in the product name.
