Maruju-nama-sabure (Matcha)

丸十生サブレ (抹茶)

A new genre of "raw sablé" looks unique.

I bought a “Maruju Nama Sablet” made by Tokushige Seika Toraya. It is said that inside the thin sable dough stretched into a round shape is matcha chocolate.

A thin, rounded sablefish that looked like cookie dough or a manjuu. The texture out of the bag was really moist.

I was told that there is matcha chocolate with Kirishima tea inside, and I was impressed by how they managed to put it inside so beautifully, even though it is so thin.

It is moist and crunchy, somewhere between a cookie and a sponge cake. In addition to the green tea flavor, there are also chocolate and white chocolate flavors, and I wish I had bought those as well.
