I bought a “Maruju Nama Sablet” made by Tokushige Seika Toraya. It is said that inside the thin sable dough stretched into a round shape is matcha chocolate.
A thin, rounded sablefish that looked like cookie dough or a manjuu. The texture out of the bag was really moist.
I was told that there is matcha chocolate with Kirishima tea inside, and I was impressed by how they managed to put it inside so beautifully, even though it is so thin.
It is moist and crunchy, somewhere between a cookie and a sponge cake. In addition to the green tea flavor, there are also chocolate and white chocolate flavors, and I wish I had bought those as well.
