“Tsukimaru” with its cute rabbit package, is an omamyu manufactured by Asahi Confectionery in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

月まるを開封

The manju is designed to resemble a perfectly round moon, and the outside has the feel of bread dough.

The inner layer is sponge cake dough, and the inside is filled with tsubu-an (sweet bean paste), which also looks like a small bean-jam bun.
