Zebra-pan
Big sweet bread with delicious brown sugar and peanut cream
Japanese notation "むちむちきなこ"
I bought “Muchimuchi-Kinako” made by the “Brown Sugar Confectionery Head Office” in Okinawa Prefecture.” The brown sugar candy has a cute name, “Muchimuchi”. In Okinawa, rice cake is called “moochie”. It is said that it is called “muchi-muchi” because of its soft texture.
The traditional flavor of brown sugar from Okinawa, abundantly used, is also firmly covered in kinako (soybean flour) to create bite-sized popsicles.
One bite of the brown sugar and kinako (soybean flour) flavors are a perfect match, making it feel like a healthier snack.
I am glad that they have devised a way for us to easily take a bite at any time. It is a good snack to keep in your bag.
