Kanzashi
Japanese notation "土佐銘菓 かんざし"
The famous confectionary “Kanzashi,” which is overwhelmingly famous in Kochi Prefecture, was introduced in 1962 and was inspired by the Harimaya Bridge in the Yosakoi love story. Although the Harimaya Bridge is sometimes derided as one of the “three most disappointing places in Japan,” the famous Kanzashi confectionary is a very tasty traditional confectionary.
“Kanzashi” is a traditional Japanese hair clip. The package includes the lyrics to a yosakoi love story.
Opening the package revealed the main unit wrapped in foil paper.

The sweets are baked in such a way that the “Kanzashi” pattern appears on the surface. It is very stylish.
It is a moist cake pastry with a madeleine-like texture, but above all, it is flavored with yuzu (Japanese citron) and has a good blend of Japanese and Western flavors.
