Gouter de Roi Noir

Sufficient and well-balanced dark chocolate, tastes bitter.

“Gouter de Roi Noir” made by Gateaufesta Harada, who originated in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, is a gateau rusk, one of the series of “Gouter de Roi”.  This Noir is sold in eastern area only in Japan.

The color of the package is pitch black with a pattern of art deco style and it looks high grade sense.  “Noir” means black in French and the coco flavor rusk is coated with dark chocolate.

As well as the other series, a backing paper is included and it is neat.

The coated chocolate is bitter because milk is not used and the texture is crispy.  The bitter chocolate surrounds rusk and coco powder kneaded into the dough.

The chocolate tastes good. The cacao flavor is mellow.  It is bitter chocolate and enjoyable to taste a lump of very high grade cacao together with crunchy rusk. It is perfect sweetness.
