Dorayaki sandwitches pasted bean jam and apricot jam holding a sweet dried apricots

“Anzu(apricot) Dorayaki” made by Ichikawa Seika in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, is a bean-jam pancake sandwitching an abundance of apricots grown in Chikuma city, where is called as the best apricot village in Japan.

The name Anzu dorayaki is printed in apricot color on the package.

It looks like a standard dorayaki, but the texture is quite moist and heavy.

It  sandwithes pasted apricot jam and white bean jam after they all mixed, and the mixed jam contains a whole sweet dried apricot seed. It is thoroughly apricot.

The sweet dried apricot seeds are delicious. The dorayaki skin also had a glutinous texture. It is a different kind of dorayaki from standard one,  but it is a refreshing taste with a sense of fruitiness.  It is recommended to you who love apricots.
