“Green soft (Ice cream)” is made by Gyokurinen, a tea manufacturer and seller in Dejima, Wakayama City since 1854. Gyokurinen, a very long-established tea shop that has been in business since the Edo period, is famous for its high-quality green tea, but it is also very famous for its “Green Soft”.

This ice cream is said to be an amazingly long-selling product that has been on the market since 1958. Not only is it loved as soul food by the people of Wakayama Prefecture, but it is also a monstrous classic ice cream product that sells about 2 million units a year.
