“Kyushu Cheese Tart” is a confectionery brand called “Kyushu Island” that produces sweets in Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture. This brand, which produces a variety of food products that make full use of Kyushu’s ingredients, was established with the aim of “bringing the charm of the ‘beautiful island’ of Kyushu to the world” and is continuing its activities.
Lisbon lemons grown at Maruyama Farm in Miyazaki Prefecture are used with their peels.
The tart was shaped like an elongated boat. It is like a rectangular cheese tart.
When split in half, the cheesecake layers form a beautiful gradation. The tart dough is made with wheat and cereals from Kyushu, the cream cheese is from Isa Farm in Kagoshima Prefecture, and Lisbon lemons grown at Maruyama Farm in Miyazaki Prefecture are used with their peels, meaning that this cheesecake is made with a combination of Kyushu ingredients.
The cream cheese is excellent! Slightly sour and smooth creaminess with a fresh, fresh sweetness from the lemon peel. In addition, the tart dough is like a moist and crispy finished cookie and feels very carefully made.
